Hold on to your hats, football fans! Liverpool, famous for signing dynamite dribblers, has snapped up Germany’s golden goose, Florian Wirtz. But surprise, surprise! Instead of parading around in snazzy Adidas threads, our new playmaker was flaunting a Nike kit with more swoosh than a fish out of water. Despite outfoxing Bayern Munich and Man City faster than Salah on a breakaway, Liverpool’s new superstar had to settle for a dĂ©jĂ vu moment thanks to some snazzy paperwork kerfuffle.
Picture this: Adidas executives biting their fingernails at HQ dreaming of Wirtz in their iconic three stripes. Alas, due to a time-traveling hitch in the contract timeline, Wirtz gets a fashionably late Adidas debut! Liverpool’s all geared up for a strip switch, but the date’s not until August 2025.
