Champions League 2025/26 Draw Details…
Liverpool is about to find out who they’ll be facing in the league phase of the Champions League. Thanks to Tottenham Hotspur achieving superhero status in the Europa League, the Premier League has six teams in the competition. Alongside Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle, and Spurs are also in the mix. Although an English team hasn’t held the trophy since Man City in 2023, Liverpool is like a cat with nine lives and hopes to add another trophy to their cabinet, with the final set for Puskas Arena on May 30.
The Champions League draw, a.k.a. the football version of a lottery, happens in Monaco on Thursday, August 28, at 12 p.m. ET. UEFA will stream it like a blockbuster movie on their website and YouTube, and you can also catch it on Paramount+. In this 36-team extravaganza, the top eight teams will head straight to the round of 16, while others play off for a spot. This setup prevents inter-country squabbles and only allows up to two teams from one nation to face off. Matches will run from mid-September to January, ensuring fans get enough action to make even a popcorn machine jealous.
