CEO’s ‘we can afford anyone’ comment raises eyebrows
Bayern Munich chief Jan-Christian Dreesen took another swipe at Liverpool after missing out on Florian Wirtz, who joined for a record $156m (£116m). The Reds beat both Bayern and City to his signature, though Wirtz has yet to score or assist under Arne Slot.
