Liverpool star faces fresh criticism amid tough run
Mohamed Salah’s defensive work rate has come under scrutiny again after Liverpool’s third straight defeat. Benched by Arne Slot against Galatasaray and quiet versus Chelsea, the Egyptian was accused by Wayne Rooney and Danny Murphy of lacking tracking back.
Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella even admitted they attacked Salah’s side on purpose. Salah says he and Slot agreed on less defending to boost his attack. Right now though, his defending is disappearing faster than a pie at Anfield on a cold night.
