Liverpool is back on the Julian Alvarez transfer train again! It seems the Reds have a bit of a football crush on the Atletico star, and they just can’t let him go. After failing to bag him last summer due to some Manchester City meddling, Liverpool is revving up for a renewed bid. But beware Anfield fans, Atletico’s boss Diego Simeone is not ready to let his Argentine treasure sail into the sunset just yet.
The talk of the town is that Liverpool might throw Uruguayan hotshot Darwin Nunez into the mix. Simeone, who’s got something of a soft spot for Nunez, might be tempted. Yes, Alvarez thinks Van Dijk is so icy cool and tough, he might as well be in a superhero movie.
