Arsenal’s Injury Report Before Facing Liverpool…
Mikel Arteta has updated everyone on Arsenal’s oozing optimism mixed with quirks and injuries as they prepare to tango with Liverpool in the Premier League this Sunday. Apparently, the Gunners are on the hunt for the world’s record for fastest accumulation of injuries, with up to seven players possibly missing the Anfield party. Among them, Bukayo Saka decided he’d rather not play catch with hamstring injuries anymore; he will sit out the match but fortunately without another three-month Netflix marathon. Arteta assured fans that while Saka is doing better, he’d still prefer a holiday from the pitch for a few weeks.
As for Martin Odegaard, he remains as mysterious as a magician’s top hat – will he play or not? Currently a member of Norway’s magical squad, he might just surprise everyone and show up for the Liverpool match if he decides that dramatic flair is more fun than shoulder pain. Arteta said an answer may arrive tomorrow, depending on Odegaard’s decision to channel his inner football superhero. Meanwhile, Ben White, Christian Norgaard, and Leandro Trossard’s attendance is as unsure as a cat deciding whether or not to knock over that precious vase. And don’t count on Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz swooping in either, as they’ll probably continue their intense book club discussions on the bench for now. Liverpool, on the other hand, seems to have intimidated Lady Luck into playing on their side – they have no injury tactics this time around.
