Carvalho’s Season Cut Short by Shoulder Drama…
Poor Fabio Carvalho! After ditching Liverpool to join the West London samba party, he’s now on the sidelines with a wobbly shoulder. Talk about a downgrade! Fabio only started a total of eight games before this wardrobe malfunction of an injury decided to crash the party. Brentford must be feeling the sting of that $35.6 million price tag after Fabio managed just three Premier League appearances.
His dad, Victor Carvalho, wasn’t thrilled when he was benched against Everton and suggested an exit strategy. Perhaps Fabio should have consulted a GPS, as since then, he’s clocked a measly 161 minutes in action. Maybe it’s time for a playdate with lady luck? Surgery now has him cheering from the stands, popcorn in hand, for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, fellow Liverpool escapee Sepp van den Berg has been dodging knee injuries for more game time. He’s dreaming of returning to Liverpool, reminiscing about what could have been. And while Liverpool’s squad might look like a hospital ward, Sepp is out there living his best starter life. Remember folks, swap GPS with game positioning skills and who knows? You might make it back to the big leagues, just like Sepp dreams!
