Magpies’ Lineup Jigsaw Puzzles Wembley…

In a move that could make even Sherlock Holmes scratch his head, Newcastle’s Eddie Howe has slyly opted to keep Nick Pope in goal for the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool. While Howe kept mum on his goalkeeping choice, fans played the ultimate guessing game. But, wouldn’t you know it, he went with the first-choice Nick “the Wall” Pope. So much for the suspense!

With the Magpies eyeing their first major win in 70 years, they’ve rolled out a familiar lineup reminiscent of Monday night’s face-off with West Ham. The team has played a tactical version of musical chairs, particularly on the left. Anthony Gordon is sitting this one out on a naughty step after a red card reminder from Brighton, and poor Lewis Hall smacked into the unyielding wall of fate with a season-ending injury. Sven Botman’s knee decided to make a dramatic comeback mid-recovery too!

On the fun side, Tino Livramento will try to figure out which way to run at left-back while Dan Burn, fresh from his England debut excitement, goes berserk in the center. All eyes are on Alexander Isak to outscore the Liverpool squad and surprise them! The benches are packed with starry-eyed substitutes, ready for action if needed.
