Liverpool’s wish list meets an old Spurs salesman
Harry Kane is reportedly trying to lure Marc Guehi to Bayern Munich, a major blow for Liverpool after their near miss last summer. Palace pulled out of a deal at the last minute, and now Kane’s persuasive pitch makes him sound less like a striker, more like a travel agent for Bavaria.
Guehi becomes a free agent next July, with clubs abroad allowed to talk from New Year’s Day. Liverpool legend Peter Crouch says the Reds should try again in January, arguing centre-back depth remains a must at Anfield.
