“Stop kicking me” — but the legend never stopped
Martin Kelly, now retired at 35, has revealed a fiery clash with Luis Suarez in Liverpool training after the striker kept kicking him. Suarez laughed and called him ‘crazy’—which, to be fair, is like a volcano calling a candle hot.
Kelly fondly recalled Suarez’s relentless drive, noting the Uruguayan even trained the day after full matches. Both left Liverpool in 2014 after nearly winning the Premier League together.
