Just ask poor Mike Trudell, a journalist who found himself in the splash zone of LeBron’s banter, thanks to his bold choice in jackets.
Strolling up to interview the legendary LeBron, Trudell sported a bold Manchester United jacket, looking like he just raided Sir Alex Ferguson’s closet. LeBron, however, was having none of it. “That’s a horrible jacket by the way,” he playfully roasted, possibly wishing he could call a technical foul for poor fashion choices. The resulting banter was as lighthearted as Lakers’ playoff hopes.
LeBron’s love for Liverpool runs deep – and possibly quite profitably too. From $6.5 million to a projected $107 million, his slice of the Merseyside magic pie is cooking up quite the storm.
