Liverpool’s Second Half Magic and Transfer Shenanigans…
Liverpool made sure to give Arsenal a headache by stretching their lead to a comfy 16 points. Although the Gunners have a couple of games up their sleeve, Klopp’s men made Southampton their weekend piñata. A slow first half was spiced up with Darwin Nunez showing his best foot forward, winning a penalty and scoring a blinder. Mo Salah had his fun too, converting two penalties.
Arne Slot, pretending to be a grumpy wizard, decided he could probably teach them a thing or two from the stands. Apparently, being suspended gives you a whole new perspective. He must have cast some serious magic because Liverpool came back to life after halftime with three substitutions that jogged them back into reality.
Meanwhile, the transfer rumor mill is grinding! Benjamin Sesko is apparently chatting with Liverpool, who might also have their eyes set on Milos Kerkez to swap sun-soaked Bournemouth for drizzly Anfield.
