New Player Arrives, Isak Wants Out…
Newcastle rolled out the red carpet this week for Jacob Ramsey, who waltzed in from Aston Villa on a five-year deal worth up to $58 million. Ramsey was seen sprinting around Newcastle’s Darsley Park, probably looking like a kid who just found out his candy stash doubled overnight. On the flip side, the drama of Isak wanting to hop on the Liverpool express still hangs in the air like a stadium-sized soap opera.
In the risky game of musical chairs that is Newcastle’s strike force, Anthony Gordon filled in as makeshift striker against Villa, while Callum Wilson strutted out the door at the end of his contract. Alan Shearer, not holding back, suggested Isak throw his agent out like a bad batch of stale popcorn. Meanwhile, the North East club is trying to seal the deal with Yoane Wissa, despite failed attempts with Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Sesko, who apparently moonwalked all the way to Liverpools and Man United.
