Maresca names big absentee list
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca confirmed Cole Palmer will miss Saturday’s clash with Liverpool due to his recurring groin problem. Trevoh Chalobah is suspended, while Levi Colwill, Liam Delap, Dario Essugo and Tosin Adarabioyo are sidelined; Wesley Fofana and Andrey Santos remain doubts.
Liverpool also face issues: goalkeeper Alisson is injured, with Hugo Ekitike and Federico Chiesa uncertain. Maresca joked about having seven or eight absentees—at this rate, Stamford Bridge could host five-a-side instead of Premier League football.
